Welcome to the 7Y1 Form Blog

My name is Mr. Chapman and I am very privileged to be the Form Tutor for 7Y1. The form consists of 28 very lively and lovely Year 7 students.

They decided that they would like to run a blog so that their family and friends could keep abreast of what they were doing during and after school.

I asked for volunteers for various roles in this project and the following people were selected:

We have made a great start to the school year by winning the inaugural Attendance cup with a fantastic 99.68% attendance; not only was this the best in Year 7, it was the best in the WHOLE SCHOOL!

Toilet Twinning

As you can see in the video toilet twinning is a way to make a real difference to children and as a school, Meole Brace is aiming to raise £600 for a complete set of 10 toilets in a school in Uganda.

As a form the kids decided that they would like to get involved and so are organising a cake sale, a sponsored run and a sponsored silence, (without doubt this will be the hardest!) The kids will be nagging you for sponsorship and I urge you to give generously to this great cause.

We will keep you up to date with progress as things develop.
